Uzu Revolving Sushi Rolls Into Yorktown Center With a Roar

On October 6, the Lombard Chamber celebrated the ribbon cutting for Uzu Revolving Sushi, the newest restaurant at Yorktown Center. The event opened with a traditional lion dance, set to pounding drums, to bring good fortune to the new business. Executive Director Rick Galfano even took up a ceremonial guandao and struck a kung fu pose, which drew plenty of cheers.

At Uzu, sushi and small plates travel past your table on a conveyor belt. Special orders arrive by “bullet train” and robot servers. It’s a fun pick for families, lunch, or a bite after shopping.
