LOMBARD, IL — Have an event coming up? The Lombard Chamber of Commerce encourages businesses, nonprofits, schools and community groups to share it on the free events calendar offered by Chamber member The Lombard Lilac Ledger.
The Lombard Lilac Ledger is a local online newsletter covering Lombard, Glen Ellyn and Villa Park. It highlights community news, local businesses and things to do around town, with a positive, neighbor-focused approach that fits right in with the Chamber’s mission of supporting local.
Posting an event costs nothing and no credit card is required. Organizers fill out a short online form with their event details, and a member of the Lilac Ledger team reviews each submission before it goes live. Once approved, events appear on the site’s community calendar and may be featured in the newsletter readers already receive. Organizers can also log back in to update times, locations or details as plans change.
Beyond the calendar, the Lilac Ledger offers a local business directory, a “Hot Spots” feature for food trucks, farmers markets and mobile services, and options for businesses to list themselves or advertise.
